Keep the Music Alive

Though we are physically apart, the NCC is still here to bring joy and comfort through the power of music. Together, we will get through this crisis, and our voices will rise again. If you are able, please help the NCC sustain its music education programming for youth across America during this time and into the future.
Today, members of the NCC Team took time to listen Today, members of the NCC Team took time to listen, share and reflect on the recent violence and recurring injustices toward the Black community. Each of us is deeply saddened and devastated by the unacceptable acts committed against George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and the many others that came before them. As an organization that has always stood for racial equality and cultural inclusion, it has been heartbreaking to witness the effects of systemic racism.

Together, we stand alongside our Black students, families and team members across the country in reaffirming our unwavering commitment to provide open-hearted educational training that proactively honors the values of diversity and empathy.

We pledge to educate ourselves further to provide a safe space where underrepresented voices can be heard and feel they belong. Through our music and heightened awareness, we will work to create a better and kinder world.
