Then… Anthony’s love of music and singing began in the NCC’s New York Chapter, where for 8 years he honed his skills on stages across the country, and also performed regularly with The Metropolitan Opera.

Now… Anthony is pursuing his degree at the Boston Conservatory, where he continues to grow as an artist. In addition to his studies, he proudly gives back as a Production Assistant for the NCC’s Boston Chapter, supporting the next generation of singers and helping to create the same opportunities that shaped his own journey. 🌟

Then... Simone’s NCC journey began at age 5, where she discovered her love of music and learned to become a confident, engaging performer. Her standout performances lit up stages locally and internationally, leaving a lasting impression before she graduated in 2022.

Now... Since graduating, Simone has been studying Music, History, and Public Policy as a Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia. She performs with a band and with the a cappella group The Virginia Belles, competed on Season 27 of “The Voice”, and recently released her debut EP, “The Hearkening”. Her artistry and drive continue to inspire, and we can’t wait to cheer her on in all that’s ahead. 🌟

Then... Cody’s journey with the NCC began in 2011 as an eager young singer with a passion for performing. His radiant talent and generous spirit lit up every stage he stepped on—from local showcases to Carnegie Hall, international tours, and even recording at Abbey Road Studios in London.

Now... Cody is entering his sophomore year at Howard University, majoring in music education with a minor in classical piano. Whether performing with the Howard Concert Chorale or touring with the Howard Improv Players, he’s embracing every opportunity that comes his way. We’re incredibly proud of his 13 years with the NCC and can’t wait to see how his bright future unfolds. 🌟

Then... Lucy joined the National Children’s Chorus in 2012 at 14 years old, which quickly led to performing on world-class stages, touring across the globe, and making lifelong friends. Upon graduating from the NCC, she went on to study at Carnegie Mellon and The Juilliard School, launching a remarkable career that has included leading roles and unforgettable performances, most recently with the San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program.

Now... Lucy is headed to Munich to join the prestigious Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper, where she will perform in “Hänsel und Gretel”, “Rigoletto”, “Der Freischütz”, “Le Nozze di Figaro”, “Parsifal”, and more. We couldn’t be more proud. Brava, Lucy! 🌟

While on tour in Australia, the National Children`s Chorus had the honor of sharing a magical evening with and performing alongside the globally acclaimed Gondwana Indigenous Children’s Choir. Led by its visionary Founder & Artistic Director Lyn Williams, Gondwana Choirs (which includes the Sydney Children`s Choir) is widely considered one of world`s leading youth vocal arts institutions, hailed for its superb vocal mastery and rich history of championing First Nations culture and storytelling through music. This heartwarming collaboration on the Cairns Esplanade Boardwalk was one of NCC’s favorite moments in Australia, bringing together vibrant traditions across the globe through unity and song. All performers and guests were deeply honored by Neville Reyes (Traditional Gimuy Walubara Yidinji Elder) who generously extended an official Welcome to Country. His meaningful words of hospitality not only paid respect to the Traditional Yidinji landowners, but also lovingly stressed the importance of taking care of our planet, "as if earth were our very own mother". Neville’s moving speech was then followed by a musical tribute by his brother Darren Davies on the Didgeridoo. Needless to say, the entire evening was an unforgettable night of connection, music, reverence, and gratitude. 🇺🇸🇦🇺❤️
