Tuition and Schedule

Washington, D.C.: The National Children’s Chorus in D.C. rehearses in Washington at National City Christian Church at Thomas Circle Northwest. The Chorus is in session from September through May, and does not have rehearsals during the Summer months of June, July and August. Please read below for more detailed information about scheduling and tuition, which also will be covered thoroughly during the application process. 
 

SCHEDULE AND PERFORMANCES

JUNIOR DIVISION (ages 5-12, beginning/intermediate)

REHEARSALS Tuesdays, once per week 

PRELUDE LEVEL | Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:30 PM
MINUET LEVEL | Tuesdays 5:00 - 7:00 PM
CONCERTO LEVEL | Tuesdays 5:00 – 7:30 PM  

PERFORMANCES 

Two (2) performances per year (Fall and Spring)
 

SENIOR DIVISION (ages 10 and above, advanced)

REHEARSALS Sundays, once per week

DEBUT ENSEMBLE | Sundays 2:30 – 5:30 PM

PERFORMANCES

Multiple performances per year, held at National City Christian Church in Washington, D.C., and Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York. Senior Division participants are also invited to join our annual international tour in the summer. 

 

TUITION AND FEES

Need-based scholarships are available by applying for financial aid after successful acceptance into the program.

$95 Annually 

TUITION 

Prelude, Minuet and Sonata Levels - $159 per month for 12 months
Concerto Level -$179 per month for 12 months

SENIOR DIVISION (ages 10 and above, advanced)

$195 Annually 

TUITION 

Debut Ensemble - $199 per month for 12 months
